DO YOU WANT TO ATTEND A CATHOLIC SCHOOL, BUT CAN’T AFFORD THE TUITION?
Established through the generosity of Anthony Misciagna, the Misciagne Challenge is a nonprofit scholarship program which provides financial assistance to motivated students, enabling them to choose a value-centered Catholic learning environment in the Diocese. The Misciagna Challenge Scholarship Program is based upon academic potential and performance, good moral character, a positive attitude, and financial need. The program is for students who would find it difficult or impossible to attend a Catholic School in the Diocese without significant financial assistance or appropriate support programs. To inquire about eligibility criteria for program participation, contact Saint Benedict School @ 344-6512.

School Choice Vouchers
The Pennsylvania General Assembly is considering Bill 1, The Opportunity Scholarship Act. This proposed Bill will provide tuition assistance in the form of a voucher to families who send their children to a school other than their local public school. The Bill will also increase the Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) to businesses that wish to designate a portion of their taxes to benefit a particular school. Click this link to see more information. Please urge your PA Representative to vote for School Choice. If you’re a business owner, please consider directing your tax dollars to Saint Benedict School. We strive to provide the best education possible for our students. Your help would be greatly appreciated! May God bless you.
